Andrew Norfolk is a Lighting Designer from Bloomington, Minnesota. He went to the University of Minnesota Duluth and earned a Theatre BFA with an emphasis in Lighting Design in May of 2022.
Andrew has been lighting shows since 2015. He was roped in to lighting his high school's winter children's show "The Snow Queen," with no prior experience or training. Needless to say, he figured things out and is still loving lighting to this day.
The summer after graduation Andrew is worked as an Apprentice Electrician at the Santa Fe Opera. After, Andrew began working as an overhire electrician and ALD in the Twin Cities. He eventually plans on pursuing an MFA in Lighting Design. He hopes to design professionally for most of his career, although teaching lighting is also an interest of his.
